The Endeavour Small Seconds is a very classical and elegant design, but like most H. Moser & Cie. watches it packs technology goodness also. The classical design includes a very clean and legible dial. Also important is the properly moderate case size – 38.8mm in diameter and 9.3mm in height – both of which are pretty much perfect. The watch even oscillates at a more classical rate of just 18,000 bph, similar to old pocket watches. The technological goodness pervades the in-house movement. First there’s the fact that the watch has hacking seconds. Then there’s the original Straumann hairspring with stabilized Breguet overcoil, and the pallet fork and escapement wheel made from hardened solid gold with optimized low friction surfaces. When you put it all together, you realize what a great overall package this is. You get a timeless design and a high end movement in a gold case, and it all comes at a reasonable price! H. Moser & Cie. Endeavour Small Seconds Case: Rose gold, 38.8mm Movement: HMC 321 Condition: Watch is in excellent condition Includes: See photos for details
H. Moser & Cie. is unique in the watch world in that they are an audacious company with legitimate watchmaking credibility. The watch industry has a number of companies that make great watches, and there are several companies that deserve to be called audacious, but Moser is the only one in the intersection of that Venn diagram.
